Where there is a purpose

THE DAILY MOTIVATOR

Where there is a purpose
+++++++++++++++++++

When there is a reason, there is a way. Where there is a
Purpose, there is a path.

You are capable of reaching higher and higher levels of
Achievement. The reason you have not yet reached some of
Them is because you have not yet had a compelling enough
Reason to do so.

When thinking of what you can do, stop thinking only in
Terms of what you have done. Think in terms of what you
Desire, what you can imagine, and what you can dream.

Think in terms of your purpose. Connect your awareness to
Whatever drives you, and it will drive you far indeed.

Purpose will find a way around the most stubborn obstacles.
Purpose will bring the most meaningful and valuable
Possibilities into reality.

Follow the purpose that is truly you. And effectiveness,
Enthusiasm, achievement, joy and fulfillment will all flow
Into your life.

When times are tough
+++++++++++++++++++

When everything is broken, it's easy to find plenty of things
You can fix. When nothing seems to be going right, even the
Most basic positive effort can make a noticeable difference.

Times of great difficulty and challenge are also times of
Great opportunity. When there are problems in every
Direction, there is also much value waiting to be created.

When all is going well, it's easy to get lulled into a sense
Of complacency. It's easy to forget how truly capable and
Resourceful you can be.

Difficult times are not much fun. Yet they can give you
Great and valuable insights into what's truly important.

There is much to be gained when times are good. There is
Even more to be gained when times are tough.

Resolve to persevere and grow stronger through whatever
Difficulties may come. For though the difficulties will
Eventually end, the treasures they compel you to create can
Often last a lifetime.

Ralph Marston
Look out on life with amazement, not shock. The variety, the diversity, the
manner of every person, the beauty amidst the drudgery, the contrasts, the
opportunities, the heroism in the lives of ordinary people, your gifts, your
talents, your friends - even just one friend - is all awesome. Live in awe,
and entertain wonder, and you will be knocking on the door of true love. Don
t kill it with cynicism or criticism, don't sabotage your life with moaning
and complaining. Open the eyes in your head and the eye in your intellect
and choose to see the stunning, awesome, diverse beauty of life happening
around you right now. Meet it with your heart and you will enrich and be
enriched in one single moment.

Optimistic people have it good; they're less
Susceptible to ill health and better able to fight off
Ailments if they strike.

Given that stress and unhappiness can have a
Negative impact on your health, it stands to reason
That happiness resulting from an optimistic attitude
Stands you in good stead.

Instead of looking at the black clouds above, think
About the blue sky beyond them. Instead of seeing
A mountain with an impossible climb, imagine yourself
Already standing on the summit. In the same way
You exercise to build physical strength, keep
Exercising optimism to strengthen it.

Today is your day to start the world over. So make
It a healthy one!

Take a deep breath. Let go of any stress, doubt or worry. Get equipped so
you
Can't be whipped by the winds of change or the daily challenges of life.
Only the
Strong survive. Make a decision to remain strong, confident, focused and
peace-filled.
Nothing in life is permanent or guaranteed. Life is precious. Live it
well. Let
Gratitude, hope and love anchor you in peace today. In spite of any changes,
suffering
Or stress in your life and in this world ---it is a choice to rejoice. It is
a daily
Choice to focus on your blessings as you relax into the acceptance that you
cannot
Control other people or circumstances.

Allow joy

Allow joy
+++++++++++++++++++

Joy is your true nature. That's why it feels so right.

Simple yet profound, joy asks only to be. Joy fills your
life to the extent that you allow it.

Let go of the frustration, the anger, envy and worry. And
joy comes quickly to fill the void.

The smallest things can inspire joy. And the biggest moments
in life benefit when they are lived in joy.

Joy costs nothing and yet it gives so much. Joy is
completely unreasonable and that is its most powerfully
compelling reason.

Joy is always here and now. Allow joy to fill your heart,
and its great value will fill your world.

Ralph Marston
Ready or not, some day it will all come to an end.
There will be no more sunrises,
no days, no hours or minutes.
All the things you collected,
whether treasured or forgotten,
will pass to someone else.
Your wealth, fame and temporal power
will shrivel to irrelevance.
It will not matter what you owned
or what you were owed.
Your grudges, resentments,
frustrations, and jealousies will finally disappear.
So, too, your hopes, ambitions,
plans, and to-do lists will all expire.
The wins and losses
that once seemed so important will fade away.
It won't matter where you came from,
or on what side of the tracks you lived.
It won't matter whether
you were beautiful or brilliant.
Your gender, skin color,
ethnicity will be irrelevant.

So what will matter?
How will the value of
your days be measured?
What will matter is not what you bought,
but what you built;
not what you got, but what you gave.
What will matter is not your success,
but your significance.
What will matter is not what you learned,
but what you taught.
What will matter is every act of
integrity, compassion, courage and sacrifice
that enriched, empowered or encouraged
others to emulate your example.
What will matter is not your competence,
but your character.
What will matter is not
how many people you knew,
but how many will feel
a lasting loss when you're gone.
What will matter is not your memories,
but the memories of those who loved you.
What will matter is how long
you will be remembered,
by whom and for what.
Living a life that matters
doesn't happen by accident.
It's not a matter of circumstance
but of choice.
Choose to live a life that matters.
~ by Michael Josephson ~
Greed is never satisfied because self is at the center of its world and self
is forever taking whatever is beneficial to "me." A person secure in the
love of God approaches life with quite a different attitude: Because I am
sure that God will take care of me and provide all that I need, I no longer
have to be greedy, desperately looking out for myself and grabbing
everything in sight.
Greed is a sign of emptiness. If you find yourself grasping after things in
life, worried that you won't get what you want, what you need, or what you
deserve, you have put your trust in the wrong place. Greed will use you
without giving anything in return. God's love offers us a fuller, more
satisfying life.

"Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything. The
generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed
" Proverbs 11:24-25 NLT

~~On The Wing's of Christs Love

THE WORDS OF A GOOD WITNESS

Words are so important. A word can excite or depress. A word can make us
glad or sad or mad. Words can inspire and lift our spirits or defeat and
deflate our souls. Words can motivate and encourage, or they can crush and
kill. Words can convince us to stand tall for what is right, or they can
destroy hope and blast reputations. Words can offer a beautiful prayer and
preach a powerful sermon, or they can incite a riot or tell a dirty joke.

The words we choose -- and the way we use them -- communicate more about us
and our faith than we can possibly imagine. Profane words, bigoted words,
hateful words, cruel words do not promote the cause of Christ or represent
the spirit of Christ. They never have and never will. We dupe ourselves
by calling our dirty talk mature, adult, realistic. Come on, now! What
could be more immature, childish, and unrealistic? If you want to be a good
witness for Jesus Christ today, clean up your act and clean up your speech.
Speak the words of faith, hope, and love in a tone of compassion, kindness,
and respect.

The Road to Accomplishment
+++++++++++++++++++

When the challenges are great, so are the possibilities for
Making real progress. Accept that those challenges exist,
And yet do not be resigned to them.

Be clear and honest about where you are. Then begin moving
Boldly toward where you wish to go.

Look realistically at the difficulties you face. In every
Single one of them, there is opportunity.

No one is better positioned than you to make the most of
Those unique and meaningful opportunities. For you know
Exactly where you are, where you intend to be, and what you
Have to work with.

The road to real accomplishment leads directly through the
Challenges. Right now, you have what it takes to begin
Moving forward on that road.

You know what must be done, and more importantly, you know
Why you must do it. Step confidently into the challenges,
And keep going until you reach the success that is on the
Other side.

Ralph Marston
Laugh at your mistakes; but learn from them.
Joke over your troubles; but gather strength from them.
Have fun with your difficulties; but overcome them.
These are Lessons of Life for you !!!
~~unknown

When you think you're at the end
And you can no longer pretend
That life is treating you fair
Just kneel and try a little prayer.

When you feel you can't go on
Keep your faith in God strong,
He is all you need to get through
All the troubles that befall you.

When your paths all end in disaster
And you start doubting the hereafter,
There is hope just around the bend,
With prayer heartaches will mend.

When worrying takes all your time
Until you have no peace of mind,
Pray to Jesus who gave his all
He'll pick you up when you fall.

When you're feeling down and out
And gloominess is lurking about
And you seem stuck in woes mire
Pray to God for the help you desire.

When you weary of the load you carry
And impending doom seems to tarry
Lift your voice to God in prayer
There is help waiting for you there.

You'll find the strength you need
When at long last you concede
That with life you need some help
And praying to God is the first step.

Begin with gratitude

Begin with gratitude
+++++++++++++++++++

A day that begins with gratitude is a day that you'll be able
To fill with positive progress. When you're sincerely
Appreciative of where you are and what you have, you'll
Greatly expand your own possibilities.

Begin with a thankful thought. And connect yourself with the
Abundance that is all around you.

There is always something for which you can be sincerely
Thankful. And the simple act of being thankful ignites a
Productive momentum in your world.

By focusing your thoughts on the positive aspects of your
Life, you cause their influence to grow. Be grateful, and
Your gratitude happily creates even more things in your life
For which you can be grateful.

The appreciation for what you have gives more value to all
That you are. The blessings you enjoy are blessings
Precisely because you see them as such.

Tap into the great reservoir of real value that is already
Available to you. Live with gratitude, and you'll create
Even more reasons to be thankful.

Rise to the Challenge

THE DAILY MOTIVATOR

Rise to the Challenge
+++++++++++++++++++

The more burdensome the challenge, the more valuable the
Response. Out of extreme difficulty, greatness is born.

When things seem to be at their worst, they are likely to
Soon get much better. The more intensely the problems are
Illuminated, the more effectively they can be addressed.

Always remember that life is incessantly dynamic. Life is
Able to respond with innovation, determination and an
Underlying goodness that cannot be denied.

The best cure for a problem is the problem itself. Because
Each problem is a well-defined opportunity for improvement.

Whether you judge something to be a problem or opportunity
Says more about you than about the situation. The way you
Choose to see the world is the way the world will be for
You.

In life there is challenge and in challenge there is life.
Rise to each challenge, and continue adding value to the
Ever-growing richness of life.

free yourself

Free yourself
+++++++++++++++++++

Arrogance is the worst kind of loneliness because it is
entirely self-imposed. If you become impressed with your own
importance, everyone else ceases to be impressed at all.

The worst kind of ignorance is to think you know it all. For
that is an ignorance into which you sink more deeply as each
moment passes.

Those who are most genuinely admired are those who have no
need to be admired. Those who learn the most are those who
have the honesty to admit what they do not know.

Anyone who must announce that he is an expert most likely is
not. The real experts are those who spend their time
listening and learning rather than boasting and preening.

Humility is a virtue that will carry you far. When you are
free from the crushing demands of ego, there is so very much
more you can accomplish.

Let go of the need to be better than others. And you'll free
yourself to reach magnificent heights of success and
fulfillment.
