How great it feels
This is a day to get things done. Make a list, and get
Started checking off the items as you complete them.
The most effective power you can have is power over your own
Actions. Instead of hoping or plotting to gain power over
Others, make use of the power you already have over
Yourself.
Identify a difficult situation and get to work untangling
It. Choose a compelling possibility and make progress toward
Bringing it to life.
This is a dynamic moment that responds to your input. Put
Thoughtful, positive effort into it and you get valuable,
Meaningful rewards out of it.
Leave it to others to do the complaining, blaming, fretting
And worrying. Focus your efforts on positive pursuits that
Will make a real difference.
The best way you can spend this day is in getting something
Accomplished. Get positive, get busy and truly enjoy how
Great it feels.

Life is a mixture of sunshine and rain.
Laughter and pleasure, teardrops and pain.
All days can't be bright, but it's certainly true.
There was never a cloud the sun didn't shine through.
So just keep on smiling whatever betide you.
Secure in the knowledge God is always beside you.
And you'll find when you smile your day will be brighter.
And all of your burdens will seem so much lighter.
For each time you smile you will find it is true.
Somebody, somewhere will smile back at you.
And nothing on earth can make life more worthwhile.
Than the sunshine and warmth of a beautiful smile.

Have you ever found a friend who makes your heart glow?
Someone who is wonderful, who you're honored to know,
Someone to laugh with, and sometimes to cry,
Someone who loves you when you don't know why
Someone who just seems to understand you,
Someone who you love no matter what they do,
Someone who you think of day and night,
Someone who shows up when the time is just right.
Someone who shares all your ups and downs,
Someone you smile with, replacing your frowns,
Someone who appears whenever there is a need,
Surely you must know, God planted that seed
These seeds God has planted here on earth
Cannot be measured by earthly worth.
They were planted deeply in your friend's heart,
By God's love placed here from the start.
Value those friendships, honor their decisions,
Never try to make their dreams your revisions,
Respect their feelings, never make demands,
Hold their love tightly in your hands.
Never be angry if you don't talk to them each day,
For a heart can be loving even from far away.
Trust in friendship, send a piece of your heart,
This is how friendship was intended from the start
Hold their memory in your heart and mind,
Continue to love them all the time,
See them for what they really are -
True friends are Angels sent by God from afar!

The life you live is the life you choose
You alone have the responsibility to shape your life!
Your happiness, success and fulfillment are in your
Very own hands. You have the right to do whatever
You want with it. What an incredible gift you hold.
Once you take ownership of it, you realize that
Nobody can deny you this, except you.
Everyone ultimately has one boss and that boss is
You. What you tell yourself to do and the choices
You make shape your life and destiny. No matter
What the situation, you always have a choice; this is
The beauty of being in charge of you.
You can make your life great. Don't waste
Another day. Use it!

Conquer Doubt
+++++++++++++++++++
Are your doubts holding you back? The way to conquer your
Doubts is with action.
Wondering about whether you can do it will not get it done.
The only way to know for sure is to jump right in and get
Started.
Avoiding the challenges will only make those challenges grow
Bigger. Instead, walk right up to each challenge, and the
Closer you get, the more ways you'll discover to get beyond
It.
If you wait until conditions are perfect, all you'll ever do
Is wait. Great accomplishments are given birth by starting
From where you are with what you have.
As soon as you start to take action, you'll begin to replace
Your doubts with courage and confidence. The more you do,
The more insignificant and powerless those doubts will
Become.
Stop wondering and start doing. Once you've done it you'll
Always know, without the slightest doubt, that you can.

FORGIVE
I forgive from my heart and enrich all my relationships.
I am thankful, not only for the more obvious, positive ways people
have blessed me, but also for the blessings that have come while
working with others to overcome challenges. These challenges offered
us opportunities to share in ways that brought about the most
beneficial outcome for all involved.
Even though our ideas, beliefs, perspectives, or handling of critical
situations may differ, we have high regard for one another and what we
have to offer. We are God's beloved, with the good of families,
friends, coworkers, and communities to consider.
We plant seeds of forgiveness in our hearts and reap a harvest of
caring that enriches our relationships.
"I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the
steadfast love of God forever and ever."-Psalm 52:8

satisfied with it. ~Grandma Moses
When we believe our best is good enough we are nearing maturity. If we no
longer insist on perfection but know that progress is enough to expect, we
are nearer maturity.
Many of us look at the mis-steps in our past with disgust and shame. We may
have lost something or someone important to us or maybe we simply failed in
some way. Whatever happened, accept that we did the best we could at that
time.
When we go within and listen for guidance, we can be certain of growth. Then
when we give our focused, honest effort...God will take care of the outcome.

+++++++++++++++++++
Of course it's difficult. That's what makes it so valuable.
The time, effort and commitment you put into reaching the
Goal have their own rewards, over and above the achievement
Itself. They make you stronger, more disciplined, and more
Effective.
When great effort is called for, great opportunities abound.
When challenges and difficulties surround you, there is much
Value to be created.
Instead of cursing the need for sustained and focused
Effort, be genuinely thankful for the chance. For you are
Designed and equipped to get things done, and life is
Superbly rewarding when you do.
When difficult work is called for, step quickly forward with
Enthusiasm. It is truly your moment to shine, to grow, and
To create according to your best expectations.

Free from frustration
+++++++++++++++++++
You choose your frustrations. And you can just as easily
Choose to be free of frustration.
What is it that makes you frustrated? What kinds of things
Bring on so much frustration that you can't get anything
Accomplished?
Actually, nothing makes you frustrated. Frustration is just
The way you respond to certain situations.
Frustration is useful when you first feel it, because it
Calls your attention to the conflict between your inner
Values and your outer situation. But once it has your
Attention, frustration has done its job, and it is then time
To let it go.
As soon as you feel frustration, ask yourself what that
Frustration is attempting to tell you, and listen carefully
To the answer. Once you truly get the message, the
Frustration has done its job and it falls naturally and
Easily away.
By immediately understanding and appreciating what your
Frustration has to say, you can quickly get beyond it. Then,
With a new sense of purpose and positive direction, you'll
Be even more effective than before.

Tomorrow May Be
Too Late
Many of us don't appreciate what we have
Until something happens taking it away
Only then do we realize how fragile life is
Like sunlight fades at the end of each day.
Our wisdom increases as the years pass by
During twilight years we begin to understand
Each moment we are given is a blessing in itself
We spend time with loved ones anytime we can.
Each chance you get tell loved ones you love them
Because tomorrow might never come for them or you
If you're like me you'll feel good expressing your love
Because tomorrow skies might be dark instead of blue.

When we deny the fear inside, we keep it lurking it there. It remains in
our minds, quietly holding us back from reaching new goals or fully
experiencing new opportunities.
Accept your fear- there's nothing shameful in it. Next time you shy away
from a situation, stop and say to yourself, "I'm scared, but I'm still going
to do it.
As you acknowledge your feelings and keep going forward in spite of them
your self-worth and self confidence will rise, The adrenaline from fear
will change to the excitement and anticipation. Suddenly, you'll realize
the emotion you're feeling has turned into sheer enthusiasm.

When we are feeling criticized or attacked, it may be difficult for us to
recover ourselves so that we can continue to speak and act our truth. This
is when we would do well to remember the old saying about letting certain
things roll off us, like water off a duck's back.
Most of the time, the attacks and criticisms of others have much more to do
with them and how they are feeling, than with us. If we can hear the
feedback that others have to offer, and take in anything that might actually
be constructive, and then release that which has nothing to do with us, that
s a great place to be!
First, though, we take care of ourselves compassionately by recognizing when
we can't take something in from the outside without hurting ourselves. This
is when we make like a duck, shaking it off and letting it roll off our back
as we continue our way in the world.
Walk like a duck, letting the water roll off your back!

Sometimes our goals are easily reached but other times we need
Stamina resourcefulness and commitment to reach them. We have
To "stick our necks out" to make progress.
Life is a process. We move toward our goals as we learn and grow.
We also have the choice to quit moving. However turtles who aren't

Remember our progress is in direct correlation to the process.

Some people sit, some people try;
Some people laugh, some people cry;
Some people will, some people won't;
Some people do, some people don't.
Some people believe, and develop a plan;
Some people doubt, never think that they can;
Some people face hurdles and give it their best;
Some people back down when faced with a test.
Some people complain of their miserable lot;
Some people are thankful for all that they've got;
And when it’s all over, when it comes to an end;
Some people lose out, and some people win.
We all have a choice, we all have a say;
We are spectators in life, or we get in and play;
Whichever we choose, how we handle life’s game;
The choices are ours, no one else is to blame.

Feelings in Place?
When parents ask their children to do the chores, the children often refuse
because they don't feel like it. As adults, we sometimes take the same
position. We cannot bring ourselves to begin a task because we really do not
feel like it. We fall into a trap. We think good feelings must precede our
work. We think a lack of good feelings is an excuse for avoiding work. But
what is the result? As the work piles up, depression overtakes us.
Here is the problem. We have things backwards. Listen to what Jesus says.
If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them" (John 13:17). The
word "blessed" may be translated "happy." Jesus is talking about the very
human emotion of happiness. The context of this human emotion is service.
Jesus has just finished washing the disciple's feet. He explains that joy
and happiness will come in doing similar tasks of service. Do you get the
point? Good feelings are not required before our work. In actuality, they
follow our good deeds.
So don't be fooled. If you are blue because of the work before you, get busy
Joy is found in doing your work, not in avoiding it. Avoiding work will
only lead you into depression. "If you know these things, you are happy if

Bad experiences make good learning experiences. While we all seek the good
times that bring us laughter, fun, and enjoyment, the hard times are what
strengthen us, shape us, and develop our greatest capacities. An effortless
life without challenge or conflict would not allow us to fulfill all of our
potential; indeed, we might never know the beauty of forgiveness, the
connectedness of compassion, the awesome depth of love, or the incredible
powers that each of us possess. In every adversity there lies a lesson, or
a chance to test ourselves and discover places within us that we never
imagined. Just as water and sand may wear down the rough edges of a rock
until it is a perfectly smooth stone, so too can the harsh aspects of life
shape us into more perfect beings. If we were to look at difficult
circumstances as opportunities for growth or learning, perhaps we could face
them with calm acceptance rather than fearful resistance.
When something is not going the way we had hoped, perhaps it is a time to
learn patience, allowing that God determines the time and season for all
things.
When someone hurts us or betrays us, perhaps it is a time to learn
forgiveness, and how this act frees us and liberates us from unnecessary
anger.
When something we value deeply is taken away from us, perhaps it is a time
to learn appreciation for what we had and for what remains.
When we fail, perhaps it is a time to learn perseverance, for failure is not
an endpoint; rather, it is a lesson, a motivator, and a stimulus for us to
be persistent.
When we are disturbed by others who think or look different from us, or
behave in ways we do not understand, perhaps it is a time to learn tolerance
appreciating that the great tapestry of humanity is all the more beautiful
for its many different colors, textures, and patterns.
When we cannot attain something we want in life, perhaps it is a time to
learn acceptance, knowing that God has a plan for us that is much greater
than the small, self-serving goals we have set.
When we are worried or frightened, perhaps it is a time to learn trust and
hope, for fear always works to weaken us, and faith to strengthen us.
When we lose to someone else, perhaps it is a time to learn graciousness and
humility, realizing that when we accept defeat with grace and dignity, we
win something within ourselves perhaps greater than the prize we sought.
All of these circumstances are times for us to learn the power of prayer

In The Face Of The Giver
There are times when we're hurting...
And people disappoint us
Because they don't have the right words to say.
They can't even fathom
The depth of our problem
Or what we struggle with day-after-day.
But these times of disappointment
Only serve to remind us
That people are simply just what they are.
They are limited in wisdom because they are mortal
And their knowledge is only so far.
The reason for that is really so simple
Because it's only God who truly knows all.
And God was meant to be
Our true source of comfort
And the one who we desperately call.
All those situations where others "don't get it"
Are our chances to spiritually grow,
To seek out our solace and wisdom from the Father
For all the details He already knows.
And when we do that, we are not disillusioned
By people and whatever they deliver.
For we have been comforted
By the gifts of His heart
As we've looked in the face of the Giver.

May you find serenity and tranquility in a world you may not always
understand.
May the pain you have known
And the conflict you have experienced
Give you the strength to walk through life
Facing each new situation
With optimism and courage.
Always know that there are those
Whose love and understanding
Will always be there
Even when you feel most alone.
May you discover enough goodness in others
To believe in a world of peace.
May a kind word, a reassuring touch,
A warm smile, be yours every day of your life,
And may you give these gifts as well as receive them.
Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending.
Teach love to those who know hate,
And let that love embrace you as you go into the world.
May the teaching of those you admire
Become part of you,
So that you may call upon them.
Remember, those whose lives you have touched
And who have touched yours are always a part of you,
Even if the encounters were less
Than you would have wished.
May you not become too concerned
With material matters, but instead place
Immeasurable value on the goodness in your heart.
Find time in each day to see the beauty
And love in the world around you.
Realize that each person has limitless abilities,
But each of us is different in our own way.
What you may feel you lack in one regard
May be more than compensated for in another.
What you feel you lack in the present
May become one of your strengths in the future.
May you see your future
As one filled with promise and possibility.
Learn to view everything
As a worthwhile experience.
May you find enough inner strength
To determine your own worth by yourself,
And not be dependent on another's judgements
Of your accomplishments.
May you always feel loved.

understand.
May the pain you have known
And the conflict you have experienced
Give you the strength to walk through life
Facing each new situation
With optimism and courage.
Always know that there are those
Whose love and understanding
Will always be there
Even when you feel most alone.
May you discover enough goodness in others
To believe in a world of peace.
May a kind word, a reassuring touch,
A warm smile, be yours every day of your life,
And may you give these gifts as well as receive them.
Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending.
Teach love to those who know hate,
And let that love embrace you as you go into the world.
May the teaching of those you admire
Become part of you,
So that you may call upon them.
Remember, those whose lives you have touched
And who have touched yours are always a part of you,
Even if the encounters were less
Than you would have wished.
May you not become too concerned
With material matters, but instead place
Immeasurable value on the goodness in your heart.
Find time in each day to see the beauty
And love in the world around you.
Realize that each person has limitless abilities,
But each of us is different in our own way.
What you may feel you lack in one regard
May be more than compensated for in another.
What you feel you lack in the present
May become one of your strengths in the future.
May you see your future
As one filled with promise and possibility.
Learn to view everything
As a worthwhile experience.
May you find enough inner strength
To determine your own worth by yourself,
And not be dependent on another's judgements
Of your accomplishments.
May you always feel loved.

On the other side of fear
+++++++++++++++++++
The way to get beyond your fear is to go through it. Do the
Thing you fear and the fear loses its control over you.
Fear can help you to assess the risk and prepare for all
Kinds of challenging situations. But the purpose of fear is
Not to stop you.
Some fears are entirely justified while others are just
Plain silly. Yet no matter how valid the fear may be, there
Is never any reason for it to control you.
Certainly it is important to look carefully before you move
Forward. And it is just as important that, after sufficient
Due diligence and preparation, you do indeed move forward.
Confidence, ability, strength and success are not built by
Seeking refuge in what is already comfortable and familiar.
They are built by venturing out into unknown territory,
Prepared for the challenges and determined to do whatever is
Necessary.
First let the fear sharpen your awareness, and then let it
Inspire you to act. On the other side of fear is the
Achievement you seek.

Time on your side

The easiest way to handle a problem is before it becomes a
problem. The most effective way to resolve a confrontation
is to prevent it from ever happening.
By understanding and appreciating what is, you're able to
see what can be. By addressing big issues when they are
still small, you can greatly enhance your positive
influence.
Great achievements are built in long successions of small
moments. When you know where you're going from the very
beginning, you'll get there much more quickly.
Every day you are putting forth effort. Have the foresight
to point all those successive efforts in the same direction,
and you can create whatever results you wish.
Get out in front of your life and do what you must do, long
before it must be done. Instead of wasting much effort on
playing catch up, enjoy the rich, fulfilling rewards that
come from being ahead of the game.
Act early, act often and act with positive purpose. Reap the
tremendous benefits of putting time on your side.

At peace in this moment
+++++++++++++++++++
By selflessness you fulfill yourself. By generously giving
you gather riches.
Resentment costs you much and gives you nothing. Forgiveness
costs you nothing and sets you free.
Fighting against something gives it added strength and
influence. Whatever you accept, you're able to control.
When there's no one telling you what to do is when you truly
learn. When your thoughts are still, you gain great insight.
By being flexible you can remain firm. By knowing your
limitations you're able to transcend them.
Though some of life is bad, all of life is good. Be at peace
in this moment, and you will always be.

You are worth it
You are worth it
+++++++++++++++++++
You are worth the trouble and effort required to make your
life the best it can possibly be. There is so very much you
have to express, to give, to experience and to contribute to
the magnificent fabric of life.
You are worth the discomfort and frustration that you'll
regularly need to get through. You are worth the pain that
the world will sometimes offer.
For within you is the capacity for great joy and astounding
achievement. Within you are beautiful and worthy dreams that
long to be fulfilled.
You are one of a kind and you are filled with a driving
purpose. You are worth whatever it takes to give that
special purpose a lasting and meaningful expression.
Yes, the disappointments, inconveniences, pains, problems
and annoyances will surely and steadily come. Yet they are
indeed quite trivial compared to the precious possibilities
that live within you.
Make whatever efforts necessary, endure whatever setbacks
you must, move forward through whatever challenges may come
along. For there is no question that you are worth it.
